About: -

Dr Maneesha completed her MBBS from SSIMS&RC, Davanagere and went on to pursue her postgraduation at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. Following this, she completed a two-year clinical fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and subsequently joined the institute as a Consultant Ophthalmologist and continued to work there for 2 years.

Her areas of clinical interest and surgical expertise include corneal transplantation ( PK, ALK, DSAEK, DALK ), Cataract, ocular surface procedures, corneal trauma , paediatric cornea and laser refractive surgeries.

On the research front, she is keen on studying corneal infections and inflammation and has publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

She is a lifetime member of the All India Ophthalmology Society, Cornea Society of India and International Council of Ophthalmology. Besides her clinical work, she is passionate and dedicated to academics and teaching fellows and postgraduates
