DR. SHWETHA SURYAKANTH

Dr. Shwetha Suryakanth is an accomplished Ophthalmologist specializing in Vitreoretinal surgery, Medical Retina, Uvea and ROP services.
She completed her basic medical education from Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences, Hassan and DNB Ophthalmology from Sankara Eye Hospital, Shimoga. She pursued a long-term fellowship in Vitreoretina and Ocular Oncology from the prestigious Sankara Eye Hospital, Bangalore and Phaco fellowship from Sankara Academy of Vision.
Her clinical practice is guided by a strong commitment to patient-centered care, complemented by an approachable manner and proficiency in several Indian languages delivering an inclusive and reassuring patient experience.
Dr. Shwetha is also recognized for her academic passion, having contributed to numerous scientific publications and secured numerous awards including the highest scientific award of the Karnataka Ophthalmic Society- Dr. MM Joshi overall best paper award- 2021.
