Dr Aditya Barigali obtained his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in 2008. He completed his Diploma in Ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai in 2010 and DNB from Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli in 2012. He completed his fellowship in Vitreoretinal surgery from Giridhar Eye institute Kochi and Sankara Eye Hospital, Bangalore in 2016. He has worked in PES Medical College , Kuppam as an Assistant Professor and Post graduate Instructor from 2016-2018. Subsequently he has worked as a Vitreoretina and Uvea consultant at Nelivigi eye hospital between 2018-2020 and at Aravind eye Hospital, Tirunelveli between 2020-2022. His varied experience totals 8 years In myriad roles.
He is an accomplished surgeon with over 15000 surgeries to his credit. He puts academics and patient centric care first among his clinical priorities.
His current interests includes newer non invasive imaging modalities of the retina, for early detection and prevention of diabetes related vision loss.
