Dr Shibi Dev B N , with experience of more than 20 years in the field of Glaucoma is presently heading the Glaucoma department at Nethradhama. having got his basic medical degree from Bangalore Medical college and Research institute, Bangalore , he went on to do his post graduation in Ophthalmology from Mysore Medical College and Research Institute , Mysore with distinction. He completed his DNB ( Ophthalmology) and fellowship in Glaucoma and Medical Retina and is been working at Nerhradhama since then.

With special interests in Glaucoma diagnostics, Glaucoma LASERs , micro incisions glaucoma surgeries ( I-Stent and angle surgeries) , Glaucoma valves ,trabeculectomy he has won the best paper and best video award in the Glaucoma Society Of India conference in Kolkata in the year 2007 . He has also won the best post graduate paper in the Karnataka state conference in the year 2006.

Dr Dev is also a DNB and fellowship coordinator and teacher , thesis and research guide, surgical trainer , external examiner and has mentored more than 50 glaucoma fellowship students both international and national along with DNB students . He has presented many papers and delivered many lectures and talks in state , national, international conferences and also awareness and patient education talks on radio and telivision.

He was also the subject expert and in the inspection committee for fellowship and paramedical courses of the RGUHS health university. He is a member of KOS , AIOS , GSI . WGC and scientific committee of the Karnataka Ophthalmic society, He has organised many national level CME programmes and post graduate teaching programmes.
